i'm taking "the remains of the day" class!

I'm taking a new online class with Mary Ann Moss called, "remains of the day". I just can't wait until I get my hands busy on this one. One problem, I need a sewing machine! I'll work on that in the mean time I'll be collecting paper from my stash and around the house. I think I'll pull out the girls school pictures and scan them and print them out in good quality paper. I'm so excited! Take a look at her video here and tell me you can't keep yourself from drooling over her work.

I'm back

I'm back after a year of not posting a single word. It has been a difficult year of personal challenges and frustration but I'm back and ready to move ahead. I recently hung 4 works of art at a local cafe gallery on Thursday. I found that I work best under pressure - feet to fire and I'm there. Here's a sampling of what I had to offer. "Naughty But Nice" is 8 X 20 X 2 canvas. I used collage, acrylic paints, glitter, rubber stamps and bees wax. I posted more photographs for a more detailed look.
